Would you like to help the refugees from Ukraine and volunteer in Leipzig? Any kind of support is possible remotely – that means you don’t have to live in Leipzig and you can organize your time freely. Most of us are active for about 5-10 hours, and some of us have other permanent (full-time) jobs.

We are looking for

23001_EN | Team Lead Marketing (m/f/d)

We are Leipzig helps Ukraine – a network of volunteers – and support the refugees from Ukraine on their arrival in Leipzig.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Team Lead Marketing (m/f/d) on a voluntary basis for about 10-15 hours/week, starting immediately.

Your tasks

  • You coordinate the team marketing.
  • You are responsible for the development of the marketing strategy and the marketing plan.
  • You are responsible for the conception and implementation of internal and external communication measures.
  • You support the maintenance and optimization of our social media channels.

Your profile

  • Ideally, you have some experience in the field of marketing.
  • You enjoy organizing and planning activities.
  • You are committed and have a self-reliant way of working.
  • You are a team player and have very good communication skills.

22001_EN | Team Lead Legal (m/f/d)

We are Leipzig helps Ukraine – a network of volunteers – and support the refugees from Ukraine on their arrival in Leipzig.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Teamlead Legal (m/f/d) for about 5 – 10 hours/week on a voluntary basis with immediate effect.

Your tasks

  • You will lead a group of volunteers who research topics in the legal field and make them available to refugees.
  • You are responsible for structuring and communicating all tasks for the team.
  • You identify upcoming urgent issues and derive the tasks for your team.

Your profile

  • Ideally, you have your first leadership experience – this includes motivating other people.
  • You can independently identify problems and delegate them to suitable team members to solve them in a timely manner.
  • You are a team player and develop the best solutions together with your team.
  • Good comprehension is one of your strengths. You work fast and structured.
  • Ideally, you have legal knowledge.

To support our team, we are looking for an individual to join us immediately as Team Lead Antidiscrimination (m/f/d).

Your tasks

  • Researching current regulations from the legal sector
  • Preparation of researched content for refugees
  • Supporting refugees in filing applications
  • Documentation of cases

Your profile

  • Ideally, you have already gained experience in the field of law.
  • You are willing to stand up for the discriminated.
  • You bring sensitivity, motivation and political sensitivity.

To build a new project team to assist with relocations and transports, we are looking for a Team Lead Relocation Assistant (m/f/d) for approx. 6 hours per week on a voluntary basis.

Your tasks

  • You build up your team independently and create the necessary job advertisements together with the HR team.
  • You support our moderators in finding needs within Telegram groups.
  • You actively network with companies, initiatives and individuals to prepare for future collaborations.

Your profile.

  • You are an organizational talent.
  • At best, you speak at least two of the following languages: German, Ukrainian, English, Russian.
  • You are a team player, empathic and have good communication skills.

22005_EN | Admin Legal (m/f/d)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an Admin Legal (m/f/d) on a voluntary basis with immediate effect.

Your tasks

  • You will research reliable, up-to-date sources in German law, including migration and social law.
  • You prepare important legal information in a comprehensible and multilingual manner that is appropriate for the target group.
  • You moderate our Telegram group Legal – sharing the workload with other team members – and answer questions from people seeking help, among other things.

Your profile

  • You ideally have a legal background or are studying law. (Alternatively, you have experience in counseling in migration or social law).
  • You are a team player and have very good communication skills.
  • You quickly get to grips with new issues and independently find suitable solutions.
  • In addition to German, you speak at least one of the following languages: Ukrainian, English or Russian.

22006_EN | Content Manager Website & Social Media (m/f/d)

To strengthen our team we are looking for a Content Manager (m/f/d) Website & Social Media (m/f/d) on a voluntary basis.

Your tasks

  • You develop high-reach content for the presentation and perception of Leipzig helps Ukraine – across all target groups and in all relevant communication channels (landing pages, social media, print media)
  • You are responsible for planning and coordinating the content on our website and support the continuous optimization of our web presence with your own ideas
  • You work interdisciplinary with our IT and marketing team and are responsible for the conception and preparation of relevant content
  • You formulate texts in English and German and support the creation of press releases

Your profile

  • You have first experiences in the fields of journalism/PR/marketing/social media or in the communication department of companies or NGOs
  • You live online and know all common social media channels and formats, especially Telegram and Instagram. Experience with LinkedIn is an advantage, but not a necessity
  • You are confident in writing and building posts quickly for social media and our website
  • You ideally have experience with simple graphic work (inserting photos and text into templates in Canva, Photoshop or similar programs)
  • You are flexible, a team player and enjoy communicating and helping out
