The Hilfsverein Nächstenliebe e.V. organises a knitting circle regularly. It takes place every 14 days on Fridays. Dates and times are published here.
It is a meeting place for young and old from near and far – open to all. Visitors come from all around Leipzig. Solitary persons come out of isolation. There are interesting conversations over coffee and biscuits.
Socks, hats, scarves, gloves and pullovers are made during the event. The knitted items go as a gift to freezing children in Eastern Europe.
